Hyaluronic acid

Hyaluronic acid is a molecule naturally present in our skin. It plays an essential role in hydration, firmness and dermal structure. Over the years, its concentration gradually decreases, leading to a loss of elasticity and volume, and the appearance of so-called “static” wrinkles, such as nasolabial folds, marionette lines, or fine lines on the cheeks and around the mouth.

Hyaluronic acid injection

Hyaluronic acid (HA)

HA is a natural component of the dermis with a very important structural and hydrating role.

HA concentrations decrease over the years.

This decrease contributes to a loss of skin elasticity and to the formation of “static” wrinkles (nasolabial folds between the nose and the mouth, superficial cheek lines, marionette lines towards the chin, perioral lines…), unlike expression lines treated with botulinum toxin.

“We therefore put HA back where it has been lost.”

HA is injected as a gel.

A numbing cream is applied one hour before treatment every 10 minutes on the area to be treated. The facial areas where the injections are performed are then only mildly sensitive.

The treated area may remain red, swollen and sore for 2 to 3 days after the injections. Bruising is possible but can be covered with make-up. An anti-bruise cream is recommended.

Its duration of action ranges from 12 to 24 months depending on the injection site. Injections can be done in summer and winter.

Intense sport is not recommended for 24 hours after treatment. Sauna, hammam and jacuzzi are also not recommended for 5 days after the injections. HA injections can also reshape facial volumes in a very natural way:

Thanks to its versatility and biocompatibility, hyaluronic acid remains one of the most effective and safest treatments to restore facial harmony.
