Urinary incontinence – understand and act
Urinary incontinence is an involuntary loss of urine, more or less significant, that can occur at different times of life. It often appears after childbirth or with menopause, periods during which the perineal muscles can weaken or relax.
The main types are:
- stress incontinence, triggered by laughing, sneezing, physical effort or lifting;
- urge incontinence, characterised by a sudden, hard-to-control need to urinate.
These disorders are very common but still too often left unspoken. They can nevertheless have a major impact on quality of life: daily discomfort, limited activities, withdrawal, reduced self-confidence and an effect on social and professional life.
Treatment by pelvic floor strengthening (Cristal Revive type)
Strengthening the pelvic floor muscles is today an effective, non-invasive and painless solution to treat urinary incontinence. Targeted muscle stimulation technologies, such as Cristal Revive-type treatment, activate the perineal muscles in depth through intense, repeated contractions that cannot be obtained voluntarily.
This treatment aims to:
- strengthen weakened pelvic muscles,
- improve urinary control,
- significantly reduce leaks,
- restore intimate comfort and daily confidence.
Sessions are comfortable, require no anaesthesia or recovery time, and allow an immediate return to activities. A personalised protocol is established according to the degree of incontinence and each patient’s goals.
Regain comfort and peace of mind
Thanks to adapted care and modern pelvic floor strengthening solutions, it is now possible to lastingly reduce urinary incontinence symptoms and regain a better quality of life, discreetly.
